This mandatory course is designed for certified TransCert auditors and others wishing to perform independent inspection of food carrying containers for shippers and receivers. TransCert inspection of food carrying containers is a required course. The course is designed to provide an independent snapshot of the condition of food shipment containers and to provide feedback to companies wishing to know if the container conditions were set up properly and maintained through food shipments. Container sanitation, traceability and temperature process controls are emphasized.

The course allows TransCert certified external auditors to offer pre-certification data as well as to perform a mini-gap analysis against TransCert standards. Container audit usually takes 30 minutes to complete and is a service that allows auditors to demonstrate transportation food safety and quality needs for food transporters.
